What Can I Expect from the Natural Lift?
Dr. Swerdloff’s Natural Lift takes one hour to perform, and patients can go home immediately afterward. A Natural Lift provides most of the result of a full facelift in one third the time with one third the recovery. The results are incredible, permanent and very natural looking. Patients are given an oral sedative pill and a local anesthetic so that they can be comfortable but do not have to be put to sleep (similar to dentists that offer sedation). Eyelid surgery can also be done at the same time.
Dr. Swerdloff goes the extra mile to minimize pain, bruising, and swelling – more than half of his cosmetic surgery patients only need to take Tylenol during their recovery, and many can return to work within a week. No drains or staples are utilized, and facelift sutures are all dissolvable so that they do not need to be removed.
Is Sedation or General Anesthesia Available?
Dr. Swerdloff can also perform Natural Lifts asleep under I.V. sedation or general anesthesia if you desire. These are performed in conjunction with a board-certified anesthesiologist at a local accredited outpatient surgery center. Other procedures offered at the surgery center by Dr. Swerdloff include Full Facelifts in addition to eyelid surgeries and Forehead/Brow Lifting. Full Facelifts address the same face and neck areas as the Natural Lift but are more extensive and generally require more recovery.
