Laura Ramos-Heckman is a licensed and certified dermatology Physician Assistant who recently relocated to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, Florida. After completing PA school, she was accepted into a highly selective dermatology fellowship program focused on training advanced practice providers.
Laura enjoys performing skin cancer screenings and treating a wide range of complex skin conditions. She is passionate about helping patients manage various dermatologic concerns, with special interests in acne, rosacea, and atopic dermatitis.
Fluent in Spanish, Laura strives to make every patient feel comfortable by identifying and addressing their individual needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young boys, and their golden retriever.
