As
the founder of Bay Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, P.A.,
Dr. Richard Miller is known for his caring, warmth, and dedication
to his patients. He has been
practicing in the Tampa Bay area since 1988, and was recently
honored by Tampa Bay Magazine as one of the area's finest Dermatologists.
He is a Board Certified dermatologist, specializing in diseases
and surgery of the skin as well as cosmetic/laser surgery.
Dr. Miller is a
graduate of the University of Michigan, and received his medical
degree at Michigan State University.
He completed three years of dermatology training in association
with Sun Coast Hospital, Largo, Florida which followed his
completion of a rotating internship at Botsford General Hospital,
Farmington, Michigan. Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the Florida
Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and American Osteopathic
College of Dermatology. He is a member of the Florida Society
of Dermatology and a Fellow of Distinction of the American Academy of Dermatology. He
is the Dermatology Program Director of the Nova Southeastern
College of Osteopathic Medicine Residency program at Largo Medical Center, where he is active in the education of students,
interns, and residents from across the country. He is currently
the President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
Dr. Miller has been trained by, and is an affiliate member of, the American Society for Mohs
Surgery and performs Mohs Microscopic Surgery.

Dr. Krutchik received
a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.

Internship at Humana Hospital of South Broward, he completed
three years of Dermatology training at Nova Southeastern University.

David
W. Dorton, a co-director, is a Board Certified dermatologist
who has been in practice with Bay Dermatology & Cosmetic
Surgery since August 1995. He
specializes in diseases of the skin, hair and nails. His areas
of expertise include facial laser resurfacing, laser vein
removal, laser hair removal and Botox and Collagen injections.
Dr. Dorton received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern
University College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami
Beach, Florida. He completed a rotating internship at Florida
Hospital in Orlando, Florida, and his residency in Dermatology
and Dermatologic surgery at Gulf South Medical and Surgical
Institute, New Orleans, Louisiana where he served as Chief
Resident. Dr. Dorton has been trained by the American Society
for Mohs Surgery and performs Mohs Microscopic Surgery.
Dr. Dorton has
been published in dermatological journals and frequently lectures
at local and national medical conferences.
Dr. Dorton has also been featured on local television discussing
dermatologic conditions and treatments. In addition, he is
Clinical Assistant Professor at NOVA Southeastern University,
Department of Internal Medicine/Dermatology which is affiliated
with Largo Medical Center, where he is active in training
students and residents in Dermatology.
Dr. David Dorton was inducted as a Fellow of the ASMS (American Society for Mohs Surgery) This required additional dermatologic and pathology training including a minimum of 75 Mohs surgery cases. |

Esguerra, D.O., co-director of Bay Dermatology & Cosmetic
Surgery, P.A., is a Board Certified Dermatologist specializing
in the diagnosis and treatment of the skin, hair, and nails.
His practice involves numerous surgical and cosmetic procedures,
laser surgery, skin cancer screening and cancer surgery, and
general Dermatology. In addition, he can provide excellent
results with the popular Botox and dermal fillers such as Juvèderm and Restylane injections.
Dr. Esguerra's mission is to deliver expert dermatologic care
with warmth and dedication.
Dr. Esguerra received his Bachelor
of Arts degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia,
in 1992, and received his Medical Degree with Honors
from the University of New England College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, in 1997. Throughout his training,
he was a member of the National Medical Honor Society, reserved
for graduating physicians in the top 10% of the nation. He
completed a rotating internship and first year in Internal
Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts,
an affiliate of the University of Massachusetts, before training
in Dermatology at Largo Medical Center/Nova Southeastern University
in Largo, Florida, where he is now a Clinical Instructor for
the Dermatology Residency Program.
Dr. Esguerra served as a Co-Chief
Resident in Dermatology at Sun Coast Hospital where
he lectured on a regular basis and also taught students, interns,
and other residents. During this time he also made numerous
presentations at national meetings across the country and
contributed to local community education and skin cancer screenings.
Currently he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern
University, Department of Internal Medicine/Dermatology where
he continues to be active in training students and residents
in Dermatology. He is an affiliate member of The American Society for Mohs Surgery. Dr. Esguerra continues to travel nationwide
to keep up with the latest innovations in the field of Dermatology
and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Witfill received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University in Washington DC. While at Georgetown University, she was the leading all-time scorer for Women’s Basketball and was the Big East Conference Player of the Year in 1993. In 1997 she was inducted into the High School Athletic Hall of Fame and in 1999 Georgetown University presented her jersey in recognition of her athletic achievements while at Georgetown. She played professional basketball in Germany for Team TSV Nordingen from 1993-1994, before returning to the United States to coach basketball for Duquesne University.
She returned to medical school and received her Medical Degree with Honors from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie PA in 2002. She completed a rotating internship at Richmond Heights Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, before training in Dermatology at Largo Medical Center/Nova Southeastern University in Largo, Florida where she is a Clinical Instructor for the Dermatology Residency Program. Dr. Witfill was inducted as a Fellow of the ASMS (American Society for Mohs Surgery). This required additional dermatologic and pathology training including a minimum of 75 Mohs surgery cases.

Jason Swerdloff, MD of Bay Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery provides the important role as our cosmetic surgeon. Dr. Swerdloff is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. His primary office is at our Palm Harbor location, but he also performs Frazel laser resurfacing in combination with other cosmetic surgeries at the Largo office.
After attending the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine, Charlottesville, VA,
Dr. Swerdloff completed his internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of California San Francisco. He has been in private practice since 1999.
Dr. Swerdloff specializes in natural appearing cosmetic facial surgery in addition to skin cancer and head and neck surgeries. He has extensive experience in an office-based facelift procedure called the Natural Lift. Natural Lifts take about an hour to perform and can be done in our office using only local anesthesia. In addition to the Natural Lift he also performs eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty), endoscopic forehead and brow lifting, and rhinoplasty (nose job). Dr. Swerdloff emphasizes patient safety and natural appearing results that take into account each patient’s individual goals and lifestyle.

Bonnie
L. Nestler is a board Certified Nurse Practitioner and
has been practicing with Bay Dermatology & Cosmetic
Surgery since 1999.
She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the
skin, hair and nails. Her practice also involves cosmetics,
including anti-aging programs and various laser treatments.
She welcomes all adult and pediatric patients. Bonnies
mission is to deliver superior dermatological care to
her patients. She believes in spending enough time with
her patients to assure they are educated on both their
diagnosis and treatment plan.
Bonnie received
her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trenton State
College in New Jersey. She
graduated with high honors and was awarded her Master
of Science from the University of Tampa. While attending
graduate school she held various positions at several
local hospitals including Palms of Pasadena Hospital
and All Childrens Hospital. While at All Childrens
Hospital she held various positions in the Surgical
ICU, Medical ICU, Neonatal ICU, Nursing Education &
Research and in Pediatric Pulmonology. In 1996, she
was co-author of two chapters in CRITICAL CARE OF INFANTS
AND CHILDREN. She has also been a speaker at multiple
nursing conferences. |

Karen graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also graduated from Nova Southeastern University with both a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Masters Degree in Public Health.
Karen’s practice entails seeing patients with general, surgical, and cosmetic concerns. She welcomes both pediatric and adult patients. She is committed to comprehensive skin screenings, open communication and thorough education with her patients.

Ms. Weston graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland in 2003. She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Before beginning her career as an ARNP-C, she received an undergraduate degree in nursing from Towson State University in Towson, Maryland. She has worked as an emergency /trauma nurse for 14 years at the Johns Hopkins Hospital level one adult/pediatric trauma center. She gained experience in general dermatology and laser therapy for a vast array of dermatologic conditions while working at Maryland Laser, Skin and Vein Institute in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
Ms. Weston’s practice consists of minor surgical procedures including biopsies, electrodessication and curettage, milia extraction and incision and drainage. She performs full skin examinations and treats various general dermatologic conditions including skin cancers, acne, Rosacea, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and warts. |

Kim attended the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences. She then earned a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has been practicing dermatology in Florida since her graduation in 2006.

Sandra Baindurashvili, is a certified physician assistant who joined Bay Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, P.A. in 2009. She recently returned to the Bay Area after spending three years in Chicago working with a renowned professor of medical dermatology and innovator in the application of lasers, intense pulse light, and photodynamic treatments. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care to both pediatric and adult dermatologic patients, as well as to the administration of individually tailored cosmetic procedures. She comes to the practice with four years of experience in medical dermatology and over seven years of experience in the use of Botox, facial fillers, Sclerotherapy, and lasers.
Sandra graduated from the Honors Program at the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree and subsequently earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies Degree in 2001.
