Deep Pore Cleansing Facial

A must for dull skin with pore blockage! This treatment aids in ridding the skin of excess oil and bacteria and revitalizes the skin to bring it back to a healthy normal condition. Each individual is assessed regarding their skin type, followed by a special facial mask to clean pores and leave a healthy, vibrant appearance.

Cellular Anti-Aging Facial

A must for aging skin! This treatment aids in keeping that healthy glow of younger looking skin and fights the effects of time. Special acids are used along with DNA to promote cellular change and improve skin appearance.

European Facial

The European Facial consists of steaming the skin as well as performing light extractions. Antioxidant products such as Vitamins C and E are used to help prevent premature aging. The European Facial Treatment concludes with a treatment mask and relaxation massage.

Bay Skin Care offers Skin Peels

Skin Peels can be done to the Face, Neck, Chest and Body. They are beneficial to the texture, color and pore size of the skin. Peels work by exfoliating the skin allowing products to penetrate the skin more effectively. This results in patients using fewer products and seeing results more rapidly. It is recommended that a peel is done prior to starting a treatment for anti-aging, acne, or hyperpigmentation/ melasma. There are a wide range of skin peels available, some requiring no down time at all and others up to a week of down time. The peel that will best suit you depends on your skin tone and the degree of result you are looking to achieve, combined with the down time you are willing to tolerate. It is best to have a consultation with the aesthetician to determine your specific needs and expectations. These treatments are not recommended for pregnant or nursing patients. Patients with allergies to salicylates should not have Jessner’s Peels, Jessner’s and Retinoic Acid Peels, Salicylic Mandelic Peels or Beta Peels. Any patient with a history of Herpes Simplex should be taking a prophylactic medication to prevent outbreak. After the peel, it is suggested that patients follow a prescribed skin care regimen to achieve the best results. The Aesthetician can tell you which Peel would be most beneficial for your skin condition.

Glycolic Peels

This peel is best suited for aged skins, acneic skins, or skins with pre-cancerous lesions. The range of strength is 30% to 70%. If you have Rosacea this peel is not recommended. These peels can be done as often as once a month with little to no down time and no discomfort.

Jessner’s Peel

The Jessner’s peel is a combination of Beta (salicylic), Resorcinol and Lactic acids combined. It has been used for over 100 years. These peels are best suited for oily acneic skin, aged skin, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and excellent for skin with large pores. This peel is safe for ethnic skin and all levels of pigmented skin. Used in combination with microdermabraision and TCA acids acne scarring can be minimized. There can be several levels of peeling from mild to moderate depending on the results you are looking for. It is recommended that a peel is done before starting a program to insure maximum efficacy.

Jessner’s and Retinoic Acid peel

Bay SkinThis peel consists of the basic Jessners Peel with an additional layer of retinoic acid applied to the skin. This peel is safe for all skin types and pigments. There is a light, flaky peeling of the skin for about 3-4 days that can be controlled with moisturizers. The face is left unwashed for 6 hours after the peel and a slight yellowish film is left on the skin. This film will be removed as soon as the skin is washed. The maximum results are visible within a week.

Beta Lift Peel

This peel is 20% or 30% Salicylic Acid Peel and is best suited for oily, acneic skin, or skin with hyperpigmentation or melasma. It is also safe for ethnic skin and all levels of skin pigmentation. Patients may peel substantially but can control peeling with a moisturizer.

Salicylic Mandelic Peels

This peel is 20% Salicylic acid and 10% Mandelic acid and is best suited for photo damaged, dry, sensitive, acneic or aging skin. This peel provides excellent and immediate results without downtime.

Trichloroacetic Acid Peels

Trichloracetic Acid (TCA) peels come in many different strengths, from 10% to 50%. These peels are best suited for aging skin or skin with wrinkles, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne scarred skin or thick tough skin that is non-responsive to other peels. These peels are very effective for resurfacing, although not recommended for loose skin. This peel is an aggressive approach which works by wounding the skin then resulting in improvement by collagen production. There is moderate to severe downtime but results are more dramatic. Usually there is one week of downtime, with redness and substantial peeling, but it is basically pain free other than minor discomfort during the procedure. Patients may be prescribed an antibiotic and an antiviral depending on the depth of the peel.

Bay Skin Care offers Microdermabrasion

This treatment will gently abrade the top layer of the skin removing dead skin cells while assisting in production of new cells as collagen is being stimulated. This treatment will minimize wrinkles, smooth fine lines, and even out skin pigmentation giving dull, lifeless and sun damaged skin a radiant and healthy look. Deeper microdermabrasion smoothes out acne scarring while helping to control acne. To maximize results, skin peels can be done along with microdermabrasion. A consultation with our Aesthetician will help you determine what procedure will be best for you.

Other permanent cosmetic procedures include scar camouflage, areola restoration and more.

Facial Sculpting

Facial Sculpting is a gentle, relaxing noninvasive skin rejuvenation procedure.  This progressive method of delivering volumes of energy deep into the layers of the skin while releasing nature’s own collagen, is achieved through micro current wave patterns.

Skin regeneration is maximum during deep sleep. As we age, however, “beauty sleep” is not enough to counter the signs of aging.  The skin is still regenerating, but as you approach midlife your skin regeneration simply can not keep up with the acceleration of sagging.  Facial and Body Sculpting is based on a concept that has been successfully used by the medical profession for many years.

The Facial Sculpting Machine speeds up the regeneration process by creating a healthy environment in the skin area, by offering the cells the energy it needs to regenerate.  The results are virtually immediate.
